These terms apply to every booking of Marribella - the 1986 Mercedes-Benz 420SL - as a photographic subject. Making a booking means you accept them. They're written plainly on purpose.
A booking reserves Marribella as a photographic subject for a stated duration at a stated Sydney location. It is not vehicle hire, transport, or a chauffeured service. The car remains in the care of the keeper at all times.
Only the keeper drives or moves Marribella. Clients, photographers, models, and guests do not drive, start, or move the car under any circumstances. Positioning between setups is handled by us.
A 50% deposit confirms a booking. The balance is due on the shoot day, before the session ends, by bank transfer or card. All rates are quoted plus GST. Hourly bookings and packages with Anna are charged at the published rates. Engagement, elopement and wedding shoots, and agency and brand productions (half day, full day and multi-day), are quoted individually.
Cancel seven or more days before the shoot for a full refund of the deposit. Inside seven days, the deposit is held as credit toward a future booking for ninety days.
If we need to cancel, whether for weather, the condition of the car or any other reason, we'll reschedule your shoot to another date at no cost.
The car may not be modified, marked, or have anything attached to it - no decals, banners, ribbons, magnets, or adhesives. The following are not permitted:
If you bring your own photographer, we do not own the photographs from your shoot. Copyright stays with the photographer who took them, and how they are used is between you and them.
In return, Marribella Benz must be credited in any public post featuring the car, and we may re-share your published photos on our channels with credit to you.
Anna retains copyright in every photograph from a shoot with Anna. You receive a licence to use the edited photos for the purpose agreed at booking: personal use, and commercial use where it has been agreed in writing. Edited photos are delivered in a private gallery within four weeks of the shoot. Raw or unedited files are not supplied.
You, the hirer, are solely responsible for any loss of or damage to Marribella caused or contributed to by you or anyone attending your booking, including your photographer, crew, talent and guests, from the start of the booking until it ends. This includes the full cost of repair or restoration, but not fair wear and tear or damage caused by us. To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify REDDS Enterprises Pty Ltd against any claim, loss or cost arising from that damage.
Shoots happen in public and private locations that carry their own risks. You are responsible for the safety and conduct of everyone attending your booking. We are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your production, except where caused by our negligence.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Travel within Sydney metro is included in the published rates. Travel beyond Sydney metro is quoted and agreed before the booking is confirmed.
You are responsible for choosing locations you are allowed to shoot at, and for arranging and paying for any permits, approvals, access or location fees they require, including council filming permits. We may decline to position Marribella anywhere that is unsafe, or where the required permission is not in place.
We collect only what we need to run a booking: your name, contact details and shoot brief. We don't sell it. It is shared only with the services we use to run bookings, such as our booking calendar, payment processor and enquiry form. Enquiry and booking details are kept for our records and for any follow-up you ask for.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. We may update them from time to time; the version in force is the one published here on the date of your booking.
